If you own a new plaster pool, you may experience your clear blue pool water quickly turning cloudy. Or, you may find sand and small pieces of plaster in the bottom of your pool. This can be perfectly normal during the first few weeks.  It's important to know that the curing of your plaster will be changing the chemistry of your water daily.  Keeping your pool brushed, water balanced, filters clean and slowly introducing chlorine is the key to longevity.
